B so did not believe me when i told her i cooked prawn/har mee that day.

SO HAH.

That's 5 hours of love.simmering.baby. Rather fineee if i do say so myself.

And when i told her i was going to cook curry laksa, she AGAIN doubted my culinary abilities *ahem*

Alrightttt.. obviously it's not gonna as great as the hawkers back home (nothing is), but trust me it's much cleaner, healthier, and more hygienic... plus its got better ingredients! and its pretty good too..

SO *coffs*coffs*... B better not doubt me anymore when i tell her I CAN COOK! and i LIKE TO! of course i love eating more.. hmmm...

geez.. some people think that no one else can cook just because they can cook nice chicken rice -_-

if anyone *ahem*B*ahem*B* wants any recipes please let me know. I'm more than happy to oblige!

Oh and my kimchi fried rice & beef bulgogi say hi to B too :) lol

so i actually ushered in my birthday doing my bloody assignments
but i won't talk about that as it was pretty depressing
instead, i'll post up lots of pics of how i managed to have a great birthday WITHOUT babs.

saturday the 6th:

so anyway
if it isn't obvious enough -_-, it was my birthday on monday
which of course i shared with yan

so we had a lil birthday celebration last saturday at the pier, port melb
which was sposed to be a surprise for her
but in the end it turned out i was pleasantly surprised too

(big ass super huge tiramisu from laurent *drools* kudos to nick :)

friday the 5th:

so the night before (friday) i had a pre-birthday-celebration dinner as well

had seafood at williamstown which was freezing, but the food was damn fresh and good

of which i watched demetri martin @ the melb comedy festival after

ta daaaa!!! so yes although i had a great bday... i hate to admit this B, but it wld've been so much more excellent with you around :( i would've happily tolerated the aunty insults if you could be here.

but ALL good. i'll be back in 1.5 mths..
